Code of Ethics

ICL’s Code of Ethics incorporates the core values of the Company and establishes appropriate ethical guidelines for employees at all levels and positions. The Code is global and uniform, and it serves as a framework and foundation for existing compliance programs with respect to Securities, International Trade, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Fraud Prevention, Antitrust, Safety & Environmental Protection, Data Privacy, Anti-Harassment and Anti-Money Laundering. \

The code's core values

ICL’s Code of Ethics was adopted by the ICL Board of Directors, and it applies to the Board itself, senior management and employees, including ICL’s chief executive officer, chief financial officer, chief accounting officer or controller and any other persons who perform similar functions.

The code is based on a platform of six core values for the pursuit of long-term sustainable growth and prosperity and one core principle of obeying the law, regulation, professional rules, procedures and our compliance programs. The code acts as a global guide that applies to all ICL Group companies, sites and employees throughout the world.

The most recently updated version of the code was released in 2017. In 2018, ICL has updated a reference document regarding Anti-Money Laundering.

The code in assimilated using the following methods:

Digital and printed copies of the code, in several languages, are distributed to employees and managers in all global regions where ICL operates.
Newly hired employees receive a hard copy as part of their entrance process.
The code is distributed to ICL suppliers and contractors.
Periodic computer-based and frontal training sessions regarding the code are conducted.
The code’s abstract and core values are physically published in ICL properties (through posters and roll-ups).

In 2018, approximately 50% of all ICL global employees and managers went through training regarding the Code of Ethics or one of its main components. The calculated proportion is based on a combination of digital data on online training, and estimated calculations regarding live training sessions. ICL’s target is to increase, every year, the number of employees and managers that go through training.
